  1. 1912

    The origins

José Llansola founds the company around 1912, devoted to the handmade production of roof tiles and bricks.

  2. 2nd gen.

    The Catalan roof tile

His son, José Llansola Escrig, carries on the work and adds the Catalan roof tile to the production process.

  3. 3rd gen.

    Ceramic bisque

José, Vicente and Juan Llansola Gil improve the processes and introduce ceramic bisque, leaving roof tiles and bricks behind. Everything was done by hand: the red body was prepared on site by mixing clays, the pieces were formed with manual presses and fired in an Arab kiln.

  4. Kilns

    Muffle kilns and roller kiln

The processes evolve with the introduction of muffle kilns and the roller kiln, like those in use today.

  5. 1989

    Hermanos Llansola S.L.

José, Vicente and Juan Llansola incorporate the current company and, with the experience of their forebears and new technical improvements, make way for the 4th generation.

  6. Today

    A benchmark in ceramic bisque

After four generations, one of the leading factories in the production and sale of ceramic bisque in red body, white body and porcelain body.

Commitment

We work ceramics with the same logic as ever: materials from the earth, local production and pieces that last.

  • 01

    Raw materials from the earth

Ceramic bisque is made from natural clays and earths fired at high temperature: a noble, stable and durable material.

  • 02

    Local production

We manufacture at our two plants in Castellón, in the heart of the ceramic cluster, which shortens the supply chain.

  • 03

    Making only what is needed

Made-to-order manufacturing lets us produce what each project needs, reducing surplus.

  • 04

    Made to last

Pieces designed for long-lasting wall coverings; in technical porcelain, with 0.0% water absorption.
